It is in the splendors of the Belle Époque, the golden age of hat making, that the Atelier Fernand Robert draws its origins. In 1905, in the back room of a hat store in the Paris region, a know-how was developed and passed on from mother to daughter.
From Vétheuil to rue du Faubourg Saint-honoré, the history of the workshop is that of a rise in the inter-war period, a passion for work of excellence and a succession of innovations. Developing its own brands, Atelier Fernand Robert produces 15,000 hats per year, exported to more than 160 points of sale around the world.
At the dawn of the 1990s, Céline Robert led the workshop to a major shift, opening up infinite perspectives, that of Haute-façon and luxury tailoring. Her milliners and mechanics are now members of the Partson Group, working for the French fashion giants.
